The Cake Artist creates all occasion cakes, Cake Art, and Wedding Cakes using Icing, and Fondant.

I create all my cakes using the Logicpic Elite Boards and there support system. I like the fact that I can wash them before using them, and that they are so strong and never warp. I feel NO need to stake my cakes to the board, as the center stabilizer rod hold everything in place. This is important to me as I live in Kentucky and do have to drive up steep hills and around sharp curves. This Support System provides me with worry free transportation of completed cakes.

When doing some styles and configurations of CakesI like the Center dowel rod Offset.  I can request Logicpic to pre drill  my holes where I need them. I am free to design what I want and I am able to get the support system I need.

I am now starting to work with the cake styles with the cakes appearing to hang way off the edges, and the long thin towers of three-inch cakes stacked up.

 I was having trouble hanging onto the little 3” cakes to Ice them, I have asked Logicpic for a solution to this problem, and they Created the Easy Frost Cake Holder for me.

The Oval cake with the Hummingbird is a white cake with butter cream and Natural white Fondant. The decorations are hand sculpted from gum paste

The tulip wedding cake is white cake with raspberry filling. It is Fondant over Butter cream. The tulips are hand made from gum paste and are wired to be able to have the long curved stems. It is finished with ribbon also made from fondant. Leaves and side roses are hand made of fondant and gum paste combined.

The Oval Calla Lily Cake is white cake with white Butter cream. The Oval shape is very often requested and works well with most flowers. The tag is hand made from gum paste. The cake board is a Logicpic Oval board.

The three-stacked rose’s wedding cake is a white cake with Raspberry filling. It is fondant over butter cream. The decorations include both hand made roses and bought roses. The monogram is hand made from gum paste and rimmed with editable pearls.
