Support System is Strong, Dependable, and Low cost.

Our support system is Reusable for many times, the cost of the system is low enough that when you have to travel 90 miles to get your support system back, you can justify letting it with your customer to keep, or throw it away.

Base Support Board Come in any size and shape that of our Elite line of boards. Or Custom Order specifications.

All base Support Base Boards will come with the normal Elite board Facers, or we can provide extra heavy High Impact Polystyrene disks, for the heaviest of cakes. On request, we can cut all holes off center in any location you want. All cakes above the base cake are supported with our 6 leg Hexagon Support Frames.

On request, we can cut all holes off center in any location you want, but all the layers will still be aliened & supported side to side with the 3/8" support rod. All cakes above the base cake will have there weight supported with our 6 leg Hexagon Support Frames.

Custom orders could have larger Support Dowel Rod, Larger Legs, and thicker Support Boards up to 2" thick.

Our Copywriter and Patten is applied for in like kind so it will cover any size for custom orders.

Support Base Board Bottom

Our Support System starts from the bottom UP.

Bottom level starts with our Base Support Board, it is a modified 1/2" thick Elite board, with:

(4 ) - 1/2 high Round leg's Attached to the bottom so you can get your fingers under the board to move the cake, it also raises the cake to make it look somewhat higher. Improvers presentation.

Support Base Board Top

Also attached to the bottom of the Base board is a 1/2" thick 2 3/8" Round Solid Polystyrene Center Support Rod Holder. The Elite Board and Round Solid Polystyrene are Drilled with a 3/8" hole in the center to hold your 3/8" Center Support Rod.

The center Support Rod is pushed tight into the Center Support Hole and will stand straight up, and will keep all additional layers in line.

The bottom cake can be put on the Base Support Board with the 3/8" Support rod through the center.

The Center Support Rod can be 3/8" Wood, or Plastic Dowel Rod.

Notice! Wooden dowel rods vary in size, when using dowel rods the dowel rods should push in the receivers by hand, DO NOT Drive them in with a hammer DAMAGE CAN OCCUR. If they are to tight you should sand them down to be a slip fit, if to loose use a small piece of wax paper to tighten them.

Hexagon Support Frame

With a hexagon shape support frame you can support all shapes of cakes. The hexagon allows you to have six (6) support legs, and only six (6) small points are near the outside edge of the cake.

The hexagon frame is intended to keep all the legs in a upright position, and keep them from shifting, or tilting. The frame is very narrow in width, and will disturb very little icing when removed from the cake. The 13" and 16" Frames are 1 1/2 times wider than the smaller frames, this allows them to hold more weight..

Each Hexagon Support frame has a Crossing Center Support Member with a Hole in the center for the Center support rod. This will keep all the additional layers of cake in line using the 3/8" Center support rod. This stabilizes your layers side to side, and It keeps the support system from tipping, sliding, or falling. This keeps every layer in line with each other.

Order Hexagon Support Frame Now

The weight of the cake is supported with the 3 or 6 wood or plastic Square or Flat Cut dowel Legs.

The support legs are as far to the outside edge as possible to get a stable support of all the cakes above. All the sides of the hexagon are well back away from the outside edge of the cake.

After Pushing the Square or Flat cut dowel Legs, into the leg receivers, on the Hex support frame. then push the frame and legs into the cake below until the legs set on the cake board, or plate below. The center rod and center hole in the hex frame will guide you to center, and keep everything in line and centered.

The legs should fit tight in the leg receivers so they don't fall out.

Support System Separator Plates

Support System Separator Plates.

Each additional layer of cake is then placed on a Modified 3/16" or 1/2" Elite cake board, a separator plate.

The Support System Separator Plates have a Hole drilled in the middle of them so they will slide over the 3/8" center support rod, and will sit on the Hexagon support frame. Support System Separator Plates can come in any shape and size. .All Separator plates will come with the normal Elite board Facers, or they can be made with our new Triple Top Facers,
for the heaviest of cakes. On request, we can cut all holes off center in any location you want.

After Placing a Cake on the Separator Plate, you can slide the separator plate and cake down over the center support dowel rod. The separator plate will sit on the Hex Frame. The holes in the separator plate and the center dowel support rod will keep that tier in line and stable.

Assembled Support System

In the top tier the center support rod only need to be long enough to go 1/2 way into the top cake, unless you want more support.

We are providing Water, and Oil resistant, sanitized and Food Safe coated wood dowel rods, we will provide them in pre cut sets 24" long. So you can cut your dowel to your required length.

We also considered pre cutting Dowel rods in pre cut lengths This would require you to adjust your cake height to match the length of the dowel rod set.

Would that be possible to adjust your cake to a specific height?

We are thinking about cutting dowel rod sets for cake heights of like 3", 3 1/2", 4", 4 1/2", 5", 5 1/2", and 6".

Do you think you could adjust the cake height to match a set of pre cut rods?

What other heights do we need to include? Would you be interested in Water and Oil resistant Food Safe Coated wood dowel rods?
